Iceland Ocean Cluster is a project partner in a new project called “BlueBioClusters” co-ordinated by SUBMARINER Network for Blue Growth EEIG, Germany. The project will connect blue clusters across European coastal regions and has a rich project partner consortium also including, Pole Mer Bretagne Atlantique, France, Tartu BT Park, and the University of Tartu, Estonia, Klaipeda University, and Association Klaipeda Regions, Lithuania, Blauwe Cluster, and Blue Bridge, Belgium, BlueBioAlliance, Portugal, Innovatum AB, Sweden, Blue Legasea, Norway and The Scottish Association for Marine Science, UK.
The overarching purpose of the project is to support European coastal regions in their transition to a sustainable blue bioeconomy.
The project will formally start 01.08.22 and more news about the objectives and activities will follow.
