Carrin F. Patman, the United States Ambassador, visited the Icelandic Ocean Cluster on January 13, 2023. Dr. Þór Sigfússon greeted Patman and introduced her to the cluster’s work and projects, including the 100% Fish project and our collaboration with Great Lakes St. Lawrence Governors & Premiers, which covers the Great Lakes bordering Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin in the United States and Ontario and Québec in Canada. They also talked about our Western sister clusters and ways to reduce waste in the blue economy. Patman then met with entrepreneurs and businesses located in the cluster.
