Iceland Ocean Cluster are pleased to partner with Fisktækniskóli Íslands, Iceland and Egga Utvikling AS, Vardo Videregaende Skole and Sortland Videregående Skole, Norway and, EUC Nordvest, Denmark in a whitefish education project proposal. The proposal was submitted to Erasmus and will address key issues in recruitment, training and innovation in the whitefish industry at the vocational education level in Nordic countries. If funded, this project will also lay important ground work for international collaboration and modernisation of vocational education in the whitefish sector.
Iceland Ocean Cluster aims to bring to this project, our strong network that makes important links between industry and education, and in particular to develop curriculum for 100% seafood utilisation to support sustainable practices in the whitefish industry.
