Guided Tours on the Icelandic Seafood & Marine Industry

The Iceland Ocean Cluster offers guided tours centered on the Icelandic seafood industry and the ocean cluster. Each year we welcome hundreds of tourists, business people, scholars and students from around the world to visit the Ocean Cluster House and other participants in the Icelandic seafood industry. Tours range from a short visit to multiple day programs and are fully customizable to each group’s preferences.

Iceland is internationally known for its productive, sustainable and advanced seafood industry. An open mind for new technology and a desire to develop new and valuable products alongside an effective fisheries management system has made Iceland one of the world’s most advanced producer of seafood.

Our tours focus on what makes this industry unique: advanced technologies in fishing and processing, high utilization of sea catches, advanced processing of by-products from seafood into ingredients, supplements and medical products and deep cooperation across fields and areas. Guests can expect to visit processing facilities, fishing vessels, entrepreneurs, tech companies, fish traders and more. We also provide business networking and/or meeting facilities by the harbor as requested.
