Flavour of Iceland
Cruise ship traffic to Iceland has increased substantially in recent years. Flavour of Iceland is an initiative of logistics provider TVG-Zimsen and ship supplier Ekran for promoting food and drink sales to cruise ships. The project was initated trough the cooperation of logistics companies in the Iceland Ocean Cluster.
Reykjavík Seafood District
Reykjavík Seafood District is a project that aims to organize and promote the harbor area in Reykjavik as an exciting neighborhood for locals and tourists, with strong links to the ocean, harbor and seafood.
Green Marine Technology
Green Marine Technology is a joint marketing effort of ten Icelandic technology firms that provide eco-friendly and cost saving technology solutions for fishing and fish processing.
Biotechnology Cooperation
The Iceland Ocean Cluster has been promoting the Icelandic marine biotechnology industry, uniting companies and assisting them in approaching US markets as well as finding investors. Recently, this group of firms went to Boston to meet up with investors, companies, consultants and researchers.

The Iceland Ocean Cluster is currently preparing the establishment of a marine cluster in Portland, Maine along with US entrepreneurs.
Ocean Excellence
Ocean Excellence is a spin-off business from the Iceland Ocean Cluster, engineering firm Mannvit, tech company Samey and fish processor Haustak. Ocean Excellence provides consultation and processing solutions for advanced seafood processing.
Margildi
Margildi is a startup located in the Ocean Cluster House, currently developing new methods for producing fish oil, omega and proteins.
Codland
Codland is a spin-off business from the Iceland Ocean Cluster. Its aim is to utilize 100% of the byproducts of traditional codfish processing for the production of valuable products.
