In September the Iceland Ocean Cluster hosted its first Investor Day. 14 companies and entrepreneurs presented their products, business plans and plans for the future for over 50 investors and other interested parties. The event was hosted in cooperation with Íslandsbanki. “We want to establish and maintain better connections between investors and entrepreneurs in the marine industries. All entrepreneurs in Iceland know how difficult it can be to get the attention of investors, we want to assist them and create more platforms like this in the future” says Bjarki Vigfússon, Economist at the Iceland Ocean Cluster.
