Innovation Community Manager

Who You’ll Work With

You will join our Reykjavík office working with our Ocean Cluster team and be responsible for growing our inhouse and out-of-house members community, initiating activities in the house and communicating all that we do to our domestic and international audiences. In this role you will be a key actor in fostering collaboration and innovation in the blue economy.

What You’ll Do

You’ll be responsible for fostering a vibrant community of entrepreneurs and innovators, managing community events, and driving engagement through inspiring storytelling and activities. 

 Key Responsibilities:

• • Develop and execute strategies to build and grow the innovation community of the house and cluster. 
  • Organise and manage community events, workshops and other activities.
  • Engage with community members to understand and address their needs while creating more value for the house and tenants.
  • Raise the visibility of Iceland Ocean Cluster through inspirational storytelling for the domestic and international community,

Requirements:

• • Experience in community management or a related field 
  • Excellent communication, storytelling and interpersonal skills 
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail 
  • Fluency in Icelandic and English 
  • Passion for innovation and sustainability 
  • Ability to connect with the individuals behind great ideas
  • Experience in project and budget management
