The Iceland Ocean Cluster is now looking for doctoral candidates that are interested in doing research related to seafood marketing and logistics. Both areas are very important pillars of the ocean cluster in Iceland and the economy as a whole. Partner companies within the Icelandic ocean cluster are very interested in strengthening research in these areas in the long term. There is a general lack of higher-level education in seafood marketing and logistics in Iceland, which makes specialization in the areas a highly valuable attribute for any PhD prospect.
There is possibility for a 3 year grant and the research can be pursued both in Iceland and abroad. In addition, the research can be carried out in close cooperation with Icelandic businesses.
