The Iceland Ocean Cluster is taking part in BlueBioClusters, a three-year project run by SUBMARINER. Its goal is to support European coastal regions in their transition to a sustainable blue bioeconomy.
BlueBioClusters will support and increase the uptake of sustainable blue bioeconomy business opportunities by European coastal regions, companies and citizens. By improving the services of blue bioeconomy clusters throughout Europe to public and private actors, BlueBioClusters will contribute to regional development and the EU Green Deal.
Along with the SUBMARINER Network for Blue Growth EEIG (DE) and the Iceland Ocean Cluster, the consortium consists of Pole Mer Bretagne Atlantique (FR), Tartu BT Park (EE), Klaipeda University (LT), University of Tartu (EE), Blauwe Cluster (BE), BlueBioAlliance (PT), Association Klaipeda Regions (LT), Innovatum AB (SE), Blue Legasea (NO), The Scottish Association for Marine Science, and Blue Bridge (BE).
