We’re excited to introduce the Nordic Nexus Network project, a new collaboration led by the Iceland Ocean Cluster connecting testbed and community nodes across Iceland, Norway, Sweden, and Denmark.
Despite world-class innovation capacity in the Nordics, fewer than 40% of solutions reach market readiness. The problem? Fragmented ecosystems and limited access to real-world testing infrastructure for startups and SMEs.
Nordic Nexus Network brings together community innovation hubs with testbed sites – ports, eco-industrial parks, and circular economy zones – creating connected ecosystems where innovations in food, water, and energy can move seamlessly from concept to market. By breaking down sectoral silos, we’re enabling a resilient, competitive Nordic region ready for 2050.
Funded by Nordic Innovation, this three-month initial phase establishes the framework for long-term impact across the region.
