We have signed an MoU with the Algae Association of Iceland (AAI).
We believe both micro and macro algae have enormous potential in Iceland. The value creation opportunities are real, they are intense, and we are barely seeing the tip of the iceberg. There are already some amazing examples out there, but so much remains unexplored.
That is why this collaboration matters so much to us. AAI is doing crucial work bringing together companies, institutions, universities and algae enthusiasts across the entire value chain in Iceland, from cultivation and research to processing, product development and sustainable utilisation. Their mission is to strengthen the operating environment for algae-related businesses, build knowledge and awareness, and advocate for the sector with policymakers and industry.
Through this partnership we want to deepen our connection with Iceland’s algae community and help anchor it into the broader innovation ecosystem we are building around the ocean. New connections, new opportunities, and a stronger platform for algae-related companies and researchers to grow from.
