We were really happy to hear back from Axel Ólafsson, who, soon after finishing his internship with us, received a job offer. Axel joined us as an AI project intern and dived into the blue AI landscape during his time at Iceland Ocean Cluster, even presenting global blue AI trends at one of our events alongside leaders from Iceland’s ocean industries. It is always great to see that our talented interns go on to great things, whether that means joining one of our member companies, finding a role elsewhere in the blue economy, or, like Axel, turning their time with us into a launchpad for a career.
