Alexandra Leeper, CEO of the Iceland Ocean Cluster, spent a dynamic week in Oregon, connecting with entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and innovation enablers across the state. She delivered the keynote at the 2025 Oregon Coast Economic Summit – presented by the Oregon Coastal Caucus and Oregon Coast Visitors Association – where she shared the 100% Fish philosophy, introduced Blue Nova Ventures, and learned about the Oregon Ocean Cluster’s 100% And Beyond initiative.
Highlights included Oregon State Representative David Gomberg’s opening address on 100% Fish, Oregon State University’s R&D for full resource utilisation, a tour of the Oregon Ocean Cluster’s seaweed cultivation test bed at Central Coast Food Web, and Local Ocean Seafoods’ launch of 100% Fish dog treats driven by team member Darlene Khalafi.
