Alexandra Leeper, CEO of the Iceland Ocean Cluster, brought the vision of the 100% Fish program to the Arctic Circle Assembly 2025, speaking on two panels in Reykjavík on the 16th of October. One of the panels was titled “Who Is at the Table? Exploring Representation in Ocean Resource Governance.” This panel brought together ocean experts from different disciplines to examine how different stakeholders, from policymakers to community leaders, are represented in decisions affecting our oceans. The other panel was titled “North Atlantic & Arctic Neighbors: Building Sustainable Futures for Island Communities.”
We are working to unite a global ecosystem of 100% Fish and blue economy leaders dedicated to creating circular, innovative, and truly resilient seafood systems, which both of these panels represented. Our vision goes far beyond Iceland; it represents a transformative approach to ocean resource utilization that we share worldwide, including in the Pacific Islands, the Great Lakes, and the Nordic regions.
