We are excited to share that the Global Ocean Clusters project has officially kicked off!
This collaborative project between the Iceland Ocean Cluster and Moananui aims to explore and share ideas between Iceland and the Pacific region on how we can “do more with less” by making better use of our precious seafood resources. As the project gets underway, it has already been featured in Fish Focus, highlighting the shared vision behind this work.
The Pacific region has long been a leader in ocean stewardship and the project builds on this strong foundation, with a focus on mutual learning and partnership. Together, we are exploring how collaboration and initiatives like Iceland’s 100% Fish can create new opportunities for sustainable seafood value creation, food security, and community wellbeing.
As part of this collaboration, we are also excited to invite participants to our upcoming workshop: From Scale to Tail, taking place on 9 April 2025 in Nelson, New Zealand. This hands-on event will bring together innovators, entrepreneurs, and community leaders to explore practical solutions for making the most of every part of the fish.
