On the 17th of October we had the pleasure of hosting a tour for the Universty Centre of the Westfjords, which is located in Ísafjörður. Such visits from educational institutions always emphasize the importance of engaging university students in the mission of the Iceland Ocean Cluster. As the fisheries base industry has expanded into the wider blue economy, transforming a resource-based industry into a knowledge-based one, we are truly excited when young adults at university become interested in what the Iceland Ocean Cluster is about. We believe in the power of education and how it can inspire action and meaningful innovations.
