The 100% Fish program reached Estonia last week during the Community-Led Local Development Seminar in Pärnu, organised by FAMENET – Fisheries and Aquaculture Monitoring, Evaluation and Local Support Network. This event aimed to bring together Fisheries Local Action Groups to exchange knowledge, strengthen cooperation, and explore innovative approaches to local development.
Benedek Regozci, member of our team, was invited to talk about how cooperation and innovation happen in practice, using the 100% Fish program and Icelandic ecosystem as an example. His own company, Havdis, is a great example of full fish utilization, as is our new partnership with the Algae Association of Iceland, showing how collaboration is central to innovation and building the community.
It is always great to meet other collaborative groups and learn more about innovative projects in Europe!
