This week, the we brought together leaders from across Iceland’s blue economy and AI experts to explore the critical trends that are defining the future of ocean industries. The event included insights on global blue AI applications presented by Axel Olafsson, our AI project intern, alongside inspiring success stories from Icelandic companies already leading the change.
Some of these Icelandic success stories leveraging artificial intelligence to drive innovation in ocean-related work included GreenFish, Hefring Marine, LearnCove, and Oceans of Data. Their work shows that AI is actively enabling possibilities for how we can create value in the blue economy. We are excited to see the AI blue economy success stories of the future.
